We had felt a need for a long time for an evening organization to give our working gals and mothers with young children a chance to share in fellowship, service, and spiritual growth.
With this in mind, a group of six ladies met and organized the first meeting which was held on October 9, 1980. This group included Ahna Dobratz, Kay Niven, Sara Miller, Dorothy Janke, Mary Riesenberg, and Dorothy Nieting.
At the first meeting on October 9th, Pastor Edmund Nieting presented a Bible Study based on “Women in the Bible.” It was from this study that the group of ladies present chose the name “Sarah Circle.”
Our aim is to have a mission and/or local project, s study in spiritual growth and a number of services to our congregation. Ideas from all members are welcomed and should be given to anyone on the Steering Committee or presented to the group as a whole
